 MCC-216 C64 core v2.0 release note
------------------------------------

* Full read/write support on D64 images. Better VIC-1541 compatibility

* The VIC-1541 ROM is not patched anymore. The MCC-216 uses the real 1541 v3 firmware

* Menu software now resides in SDRAM and is loaded from SD-Card (C64MENU.BIN in /SYSTEM/ROM/C64/)

* To update the MCC-216 with the new core
   - Use the bootloader to update the flash with the new ARG file
   - Copy C64MENU.BIN and 1541ROM.BIN under /SYSTEM/ROM/C64/

* If you are missing the file 1541ROM.BIN :
   - Get the archive from http://www.zimmers.net/cbmpics/cbm/drives/1541.zip
   - Uncompress it in a temporary folder (i.e C:/Temp/)
   - Under the DOS command line type : COPY /B 1541-c000.325302-01.bin + 1541-e000.901229-03.bin 1541ROM.BIN

New keys for save functionality:

Please press F12 for the Disk OSD display the "DISK #x" string in the OSD is in reverse video
when the disk image was modified and needs to be written back to the SD-Card.
Please press TAB or use the disk swap key : the menu key next to "Alt Gr"
